Richard's Art Links (mostly abstract art)

All files pointed to from this page or pages under it are likely to be large, and take time to fetch. If you find any broken or out-of-date links, or other problems, please tell me about them. I did a quick scan in mid-October of 1997 and deleted some dead links. In August 1998 and December 1998 I used the link checker at NetMechanic which caught several more. I did this again in August 1999.

For another extensive list of art sites, see Art Deadlines.

My favourite physical gallery now has an online presence: the Frederick Spratt Gallery in San Jose, California.

I can find very few images of the pictures of Yves Tanguy on the Web, so here's what I have found, for you other Tanguy fans out there:

Galleries (physical and on-line) of conventional work

which simply means that it was generated by a physical or analog process; the subject matter may be almost anything.

Computer-generated images

of (mostly) conventional subjects

Mathematical subjects

including fractals and interactive work
